Planned Upgrades 10/3/24![]()

We are planning to upgrade some of the equipment on the South Evangeline tower, St Jules Relay as well as the Jennings/Richard Rd tower for the upcoming plan speed increases between 8AM-5PM. These upgrades will cause intermittent outages. Please plan accordingly for these outages. These upgrades should be completed by 5PM Thursday evening. Please help spread the word to your neighbors:-) We will update once the upgrades are completed. We appreciate You and for choosing to be a part of the Boot State Family!

We were able to get the equipment to hold a stable connection and those affected should have services again. We will be replacing the cable that feeds this equipment tomorrow when we were originally scheduled to climb the Egan tower. We appreciate your patience and support.![]()

Outage: We have a piece of equipment not holding a stable connection on the Egan tower since last night. This radio issue affects approx 20 customers. We will be climbing asap to resolve this hardware problem.

Outage 9/2/24![]()
It appears there is a piece of equipment damaged at the tower base at the S Evangeline Tower that is causing an outage to the Richard rd tower and surrounding areas. We are currently working on swapping the equipment out and services should be restored within the next 2 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your continued support! We will update once completed.
While we appreciate everyone's patience with our growing pains. We have been nonstop upgrading our towers power requirements and overall capacity availabilities. The new class of wireless we have been testing in select areas is very promising. This is just a sample of what we will be offering in most coverage areas after we finish upgrades. Please don't spam us, we will announce each area when the new speed plans are tested and available. This will mark the first Major speed and performance upgrades across the network for us! The future looks real good for BST customers!
Update 8:00. The fiber services have been restored, However We have not been given the all clear yet, so there's always the possibility of services going up and down as they continue to do repairs and assessments.![]()

Outage 5:15. We are currently working with our fiber provider to troubleshoot a fiber outage affecting multiple areas of our network. We will update asap when we get new information.
